Webinars are Important for API CPD

By attending certain TheAnees webinars, you may be eligible for one or more API Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours. Please read API's guidance document (Recertification Requirements: Continuing Professional Development Hours) for a full understanding of the eligibility requirements. Specific to webinars, the guidance document states the following (as of April 13, 2022)

API Requirements for Webinars

1: Certificants may watch webinars on Industry Related Topics and receive CPD hours for the duration of the webinar. 

2: The webinar must be a minimum of 50 minutes to be granted 1 CPD hour.

Verification for Webinars

1: Certificants will provide ICP with proof of registration for the webinar.

2:Certificants may not complete the same webinar for two different recertification periods”

Risk-based inspection (RBI) is an inspection methodology based on the risk factors of equipment malfunction. It is a type of preventive approach that focuses on predicting and avoiding potential issues instead of reacting to failures.

Certificates of attendance

All participants who complete the below requirements will get certificates of attendance from us within two weeks of the webinar's date
 
You must meet the following requirements for getting certificate:
  • Using a valid email address, full name, and other details, you registered for the webinar. Without it, the certificate that is generated can be inaccurate.
  • Attended a live version of the webinar and on-demand version
  • As per the above mentioned API requirements, you attended the webinar for at least 50 minutes.

If you fulfilled these requirements but did not obtain an attendance certificate, kindly take the following action:

  • Verify the spam/junk folder in your email. Emails with certificates may occasionally be mistakenly classified as spam.
  • Verify any additional email addresses you might have used to register for the webinar. Certificates are delivered to the email account that was originally registered with.

You can check the certificate's genuineness by performing a search in TheAnees directory.

TheAnees does not currently provide certificates of attendance to participants who join webinars over the phone or by utilizing another person's usernames and passwords.
